e-Learning Space Online Tutoring Program Overview
Here at The Learning Space, our focus has always been supporting our students through challenges. Our new e-Learning Space program was developed out of the Covid-19 Pandemic and allows students to learn and flourish in the comfort of their own home.
The new e-Learning Space Program is live tutoring online, and uses the same exclusive tools, materials, and individualized programs we provide in our centres through screen sharing technology. The flexibility in scheduling and the one-to-one teacher to student ratio have made this a preferred program by some of our parents.

This program is ideal for students over the age of 8. It also may be ideal for those who become easily distracted, perform better in a quieter environment, or enjoy working with technology. It is good option for older students who need extra support with their schoolwork, as they can easily share their assignments or homework directly with our teachers. Our teachers can then use all the tools available to them to teach lessons and provide direct support.

Assessment maybe needed to build an individualized program
Private links for material and class password emailed
Option to print out material or pick up from centre

What software or device would I need for the program?
No special software is required. You would only need a device with a webcam and high-speed Internet connection.
Would you do the assessment online as well?
We would need to arrange to have your child come into the centre at a date and time suitable for you to build the program.
Are there any age requirements for the program?
Since the development of programs turning to the online world, we found that in general, children ages 8 and younger do not do well online because of their limited exposure to technology. You may find yourself needing to sit with the younger child to limit distractions and continue working.
What are the times that are available and are they same as what is scheduled in centre?
The times would be completely flexible and can be any time outside of our in centre operating hours.
